spacq

Speech Acquisition (spacq) gets the audio signal from the iBook-internal microphone and calculates a fast fourier transformation (FFT).
Both, the time and the frequency signals, are displayed on the screen.

Start spacq and enjoy viewing the frequency spectrum.
The image above shows the spoken phrase "Hello world, hello world".

Note: The library /usr/lib/libqt-mt.3.dylib is required.
Therefore, download the Mac-QT freeware library from Trolltech and build it as described in the trolltech documentation (multithreading must be activated).
